VertexModeler controls personal data processed for this website and product delivery. Dodo Payments separately processes new payment and transaction data. Historical Paddle transaction data remains with its original payment provider. Contact us at privacy@vertexmodeler.com.
Data we collect
- Account identifiers, name, email, and authentication events supplied through our account service.
- Order email snapshots, order references, license, currency, tax and settlement summaries, payment status, invoice links, and entitlement records supplied through Dodo Payments, plus records for historical Paddle transactions; we do not receive full card details.
- Download actions, delivery channel, release and file identifiers, approximate country, abuse-prevention identifiers, and technical logs. Public and creator statistics are aggregated and do not expose download identities or raw IP addresses.
- Creator applications, private portfolio images, rights confirmations, product drafts, review decisions, earnings, offline payout-verification status, settlement approvals, transfer references, and audit notes. We do not collect or store creator bank, Payoneer, or other payout-account details.
- Messages and files you voluntarily submit through contact or creator-application forms.
- Device, browser, request, cookie, and security information needed to operate the site.
Why we use it
We process data to perform our contract, provide licensed downloads, maintain accounts, answer requests, prevent fraud, comply with tax and legal obligations, and improve service reliability. Where consent is required for optional analytics or marketing, we will request it separately.
Service providers
- An account service provides secure sign-in.
- Dodo Payments processes new payments, applicable taxes, official receipts, and refunds. Historical Paddle transactions remain with their original payment provider.
- Network security and cloud-file services protect and deliver the site.
- Website operations services host the application and operational logs.
- A data service stores product, order, entitlement, earning, and settlement-audit records.
- A security service may provide abuse-prevention limits when configured.
International transfers and retention
These providers may process data outside your country. We rely on their contractual and legal transfer safeguards where required. We retain account and entitlement data while your account or license is active, transaction records as required by law, aggregate product download actions while the product remains available, security logs for a limited operational period, and support correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary.
Cookies and security
Essential cookies maintain sign-in, language, security, and download sessions. We do not use optional advertising cookies by default. We use access controls, signed URLs, encryption in transit, and provider security controls, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, and may complain to a supervisory authority. Some transaction and fraud records cannot be deleted immediately where retention is legally required. Contact privacy@vertexmodeler.com to make a request.
Children and changes
The service is not directed to children under 13 or the higher minimum age required locally. We may update this policy when services or laws change and will post the effective date here.
